One of the good things at the hospital is the playroom. There are lots of games and crafts and we can leave her with the staff while we have some time to do other stuff (like eat lunch). The picture below is of her painting some form of abstract art. Today Jennifer's parents are bringing Sydney and Jackson to visit. Sydney is then going to stay with us until we leave, but Jackson is going to go back. He'll do well playing with the cousins and would get very bored here.
The Ronald McDonald House continues to be a huge blessing for us. It's great to have a place for me to sleep and where we can get a variety of meals cooked by volunteers. They do a great job for families.
Kaylee has occasionally mentioned that she's hungry and wants various types of food, but overall she's doing well. Her latest pet phrase is "maybe later?" Yesterday she said "Mommy I want a hamburger...maybe later?"
