Some seats from DFW to LAX finally came open for us to switch our frequent flier reservations to so it looks like we're set! Unfortunately, we get to LA at 9 am and don't leave for China until almost midnight which gives us a whole day to amuse ourselves! I do plan to keep checking and see if any later flights come open, but we're more than grateful to God that we can use these miles we've been saving for years now!
We don't fly that often so a lot of the miles have come this last year from a concentrated effort on our part to accumulate them using credit cards. It's so amazing to watch how each step of this journey has been laid out in front of us. I hope it's been building our faith, surely it HAD to, because I know we'll need it for the weeks ahead of us as we add a second child to our family who has medical needs including surgery in her future. This will take us to places we've never been before, but I'm more than confident that the God who brought Kaylee into our lives "will be faithful to complete it".
Only 7 more days until we leave!
