Well we're here in Naning and we're all exhausted; Jennifer and Sydney are asleep and I'll probably join them soon, although I did nap earlier. I'm trying to look at the blog and it comes up in Chinese which is really wierd! The flights were long and uneventful. We managed to sleep off and on throughout both the international and domestic flights.
Sydney has been wonderful. She has seemed to enjoy the experience and has coped incredibly well. Our dometic flight from Guangzhou to Naning was about 45 minutes. They gave us bottled water, but Sydney couldn't understand why she couldn't go up and ask the lady for a Tuna sandwich like she did on the flight from LAX.
Sydney was also a big hit at Guangzhou airport. She loves being the center of attention. At the airport she approached a group of ladies who had been staring at her and proceeded to tell them all about her baby dolly and raggy. Then she transitioned into peek-a-boo which they were able to understand. She didn't care that she couldn't understand them; she just enjoyed the attention. I think the only two words they shared in common were "bye-bye" and "boo."
