Yes, plans are still on. Why not? Just because things aren't happening in OUR timeline, doesn't mean it won't happen.
No, Andrew and I haven't talked about a contingency plan. Haven't needed or wanted to yet. As far as we're concerned we'll be in China until we get our son.
I think the thing that would make me the most sad (apart from not completing the whole reason for this trip!)would be if we had to miss out on the Beijing part of the trip. Sad for Sydney since she's old enough to remember seeing many of the landmarks that people associate with China. Sad because I don't see another oportunity like this again. Sad for Val because this will also probably be her one and only trip to China.
But it's not too late! We aren't changing any plans yet. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days. Who wants to lead a boring, predictable life anyway?? Ha. Sometimes I do!
