Got an email late last night that we did indeed receive our Article 5 last Thursday. Due to the CCAA being closed this week it will be "express mailed to them on Saturday, 2/20 when they reopen".
Good to get that confirmation. Now pray for that TA to be here by Mar. 5th--2 weeks from Friday! Enough time for our agency to do what they need to do on their end and not feel rushed or that they need to curry favors from anyone in China.
But if it's not here by that date we're still going to China. Even if we have to sit in a hotel and wait for it to be delivered to our room! Seriously, I don't think it will get to that point, but it does help my mindset to know we're going regardless. Not wondering if we'll be waiting right up to the days before the plane leaves not sure if we'll be leaving or not.
