Hi Everyone,
Sydney and her Grandparents arrived on Thursday morning. Sydney was very excited to see us and we were equally thrilled to see our little girl again. Sydney had it in her mind that she was going to go on the plane to see us and she kept telling her Grandma that she couldn't see the airport lights. Kaylee was not so thrilled to have someone else get some of the attention. She made it very clear that she was the one who everyone should be looking at.
We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Ronald McDonald House yesterday. Kaylee was sleeping so we all went over and had a wonderful meal catered by a local restaurant.
Kalee slept well last night and is very keen to go and roam the halls. It's a challenge when she's still hooked up, but she loves to get out and walk. She obviously wants food and even if you're drinking water she opens her moth and points to it and says more, more, more. She has been trying to climb out of her bed, even lifting her leg onto the top of the rail which is a no no.
Overall we're doing well. Jennifer thinks she'll probably have to stat one more week after Kaylee is released from the hospital. In that case she will go back to Indianapolis to stay with her sister for the week and then come back to the hospital for the final appointment. We all wish it could be quicker, but we also want to take care of everything we can while we're here before they head back to Texas.
Love and blessings,
Andrew
